Liability Release Consent: By signing up (RSVP) to play, you have consent that you are responsible for and assume all risks involved in your choosing to participate in this sport. You expressly release this group on Meetup app or Meetup.com as "Long Beach CoEd Soccer (& Women)" including staff, volunteers, agents, or any other persons and entities involved with the disciplines from any actions, claims, liability, losses, costs, or treatments which could arise from such injuries.

No Guest or Walk-ins: Everyone will have to sign-up directly on meetup app or meetup.com website to play (no guest or walk-in players will be accepted).

Summary: This is a beginner friendly event. Please play safe (Recreational/non-competitive level).

PLAYING RULES: · NO SLIDE TACKLES or rough play (No arguments / shirt tugs / play nice). · Corner Kicks Safety - Please be extra cautious during corner kicks. We want to avoid head bumps (or head to body injuries). Let the ball go to avoid any injuries. This is not professional / competitive soccer, most of us still have to go back to work the next workday. · Fetch your own balls. If you kick the ball over the goal or wide, make sure you go get it. · To keep cost down, we don't have referees to manage the game, so please play fair (no shirt pulling, etc.) and call your own fouls (honor system). We need everyone to help slow the game down if the game or someone is getting too intense. Please help the event host put away the equipment. · No aggressive play/language

Location/time: We play mostly in Long Beach and Cerritos. Let's try to show up early so we can warm up/help field/setup goals and kick-off right away (two 30- 40 minute halves) and a short break so we can finish a little over an hour. We play on grass, soccer cleats are recommended for your safety and others.

FEES: To help keep this meetup alive, we ask for a minimum $2 per game donation to cover fees, events and equipment (goals, cones, pinnies, balls, etc…). You can donate in person (cash) or VENMO (@woncheon or zelle, history.gordon@gmail.com)

Bring: We will provide pinnies for team selection. Bring water and a soccer ball (if you have one).

No-show rule: Every time you "no-show,” you will lose your RSVP priority on your next playing session (meaning that people on the waitlist will have more priority to play over you). Your attendance and commitment are important to our group. Please show-up ONLY if you are RSVP’d as “GOING,” it takes a few seconds to change your RSVP status to "Not going." If you cannot make it, please change your status at least 24-hours before the scheduled event to give people on the waiting list a chance to arrange their schedule (time to coordinate, including host). If you get three no-shows, you will get a red card and you will be banned from our group events for 3 months. Every week, we have people on the waitlist that would like to play. Taking yourself off a few hours before the scheduled event is also the same as a NO-SHOW (you are taking an opportunity away from others).

No Recruiting: Please do not show-up to our event for the purpose of recruiting players to another event/venue. Please discuss your ideas with our event organizers. We spend a lot of time and energy promoting our events and try to maintain a level to have enough players to have a game every week.

NOTE: The organizers (and volunteers) of this activity are not professional. Please play fair and respect each other. Also be respectful to our fields and pick up trash (water bottle, etc.) EVEN IF IT'S NOT YOUR TRASH, so that we can continue playing at the locations with no complaints from residents, schools, or park officials. This event is hosted by Light of Life. A ministry based organization which goal is to help and bring the community together through culture and arts.
